Description Educators will follow the life cycle and natuaral history of the Atlantic Salmon. Learn to understand the importance of reintroducing a species, almost having gone extinct, to its native habitat. This workshop will follow the life cycle of the salmon as they develop from egg to fry using a developmental index to chart their growth. Variables will be introduced to show the effect temperature and time can have on slowing down or speeding up the development of the salmon fry. Further stages will be examined to illustrate how an Atlantic Salmon comes back to the very stream it was born in.
