Description Can you pour air? What types of solids dissolve in water? Why does most material expand when you heat it? Does air have weight? Come and explore these and other safe and simple practices to help elementary students understand more about the 3 states of matter in the world around them.
 
Objectives As a result of taking part in this workshop, participants will:
  		• Gain an understanding with investigations of the 3 states of matter.
  		•  Identify lessons that can be utilized to reinforce these principles.
  		•  Become familiar with CT Science Standard 3.1.a.
