Sometimes You Feel Like Metamorphosis/Sometimes You Don't

Description Some organisms complete a four stage metamorphosis, some only a three stage metamorphosis, while others do not go through metamorphosis at all. Participants will contrast and compare how organisms use or don't use metamorphosis as an adaptation in the struggle for the survival of the fittest. Aligned with CT Science Standard 1.3.
 
Objectives As a result of taking part in this workshop, participants will:
  		• Differentiate between complete and incomplete metamorphosis.
  		•  Identify specific species that exhibit the above behaviors.
  		•  Apply the strategy of metamorphosis to specific ecosystems.
