Description Laying the foundation (LTF) is a well established, comprehensive program which seeks to improve student achievement in mathematics, the sciences and English Language Arts. LTF is dedicated to providing quality teacher-to-teacher training, rigorous classroom materials, and web-based resources to improve the quality of instruction. Separate sessions are offered for Middle and High school teachers.
 
Objectives As a result of taking part in this workshop, participants will:
  		• Emphasize the content and process skills essential for success in AP Math courses
  		•  Engage in activities that reflect the rigorous content expectations required in AP Math courses
  		•  Provide examples of how to differentiate and scaffold lessons to meet the needs of students without sacrificing high expectations and rigor
